Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity Completes the House!
Our Thrivent Builds home is complete, almost. There is still the yard to finish after the weather breaks. Look for a work day or two in March.
The dedication was a joyous occasion, a wonderful climax to a year of planning, fund raising and work at the house. Thanks to all who support this effort in any way. The dedication was attended by several Thrivent/Lutheran workers. Ivory Rossere is ready to move in with her family.
We will continue to find ways to partner with Habitat in 2009, their plans for 2009 include at lest one new construction twin home. We hope to do another Thrivent Build with Habitat in 2010.
