Thrivent Builds Chester

Thrivent Builds Breakfast March 28, 2009, 8:30 am

We will return to where we started for a Thrivent Builds wrap up Breakfast at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Woodlyn on Saturday, March 28, 2009. We will start serving breakfast at 8:30 am and start the program no later than 9:30 and should wrap up about 10:30. First and foremost this event is to thank all who worked on our 2008 Thrivent Build House at 806 Pusey St., Chester.

Also on the agenda will be ‘lessons learned’ from the past year, ways we can partner with Habitat for Humanity in 2009 and lay the ground work for a 2010 Thrivent Build in Delaware County. In addition to volunteering at the job site there are several other opportunities to work with Habitat including Family Selection, Family Support and Publicity. Members of the Habitat Board will be available to discuss these opportunities with you and share their 2009 plans.

Spread the word about the breakfast and invite 2008 volunteers or potential new volunteers to the breakfast. If possible let me know who will be attending by March 23rd, either by phone 610-328-1934 or email, josephtroyan@comcast.net.
